Hi! I'm Mel!

In 2017 on a cold winter Sunday afternoon in London,
I had one too many glasses of red wine at lunch and on the way home
popped in to a travel agent. 'Just to have a look'.
Left having booked an eight month trip across the world.
Handed my notice in, left my flat and bought a new camera
that I had no idea how to use, to document this huge new adventure.
Little did I know it would become the love of my life.
My livelihood.
My unlimited source of joy.
I've now photographed hundreds of families.
Capturing the journey from pregnancy right through to
fourth and fifth babies!
Mentoring lots of other photographers
and making beautiful friendships.

When I'm not behind the camera,
I'm usually pottering at my cottage or wandering outside in nature.

My real love is not in 'smiling for the camera'.

It's capturing the raw beauty in the chaos of this time of your life.
